Quality Welsh Food Certification Ltd (QWFC) was established in 2003 by cooperatives in Wales to operate as a Certification Body for Schemes that aim to deliver quality in farm and food production.

Schemes
WLBP own and run a number of schemes within the industry. WLBP strives to strengthen consumer confidence by providing assurance of farm standards through the Farm Assured Welsh Livestock Beef and Lamb Scheme (FAWL). QWFC Ltd certifies members of the Farm Assured Welsh Livestock (FAWL) Scheme, the Welsh Organic Scheme and the Red Tractor Farm Assurance Dairy Scheme. Quarantine Unit Scheme
QWFC certifies farms against the Welsh Government’s Quarantine Unit (QU) Scheme standards. QU give farmers an alternative to the six-day standstill rule. Details of the scheme and how you can join are available here.
